What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I like to take the time to get to know my patients both medically and psychosocially. This allows a more comprehensive approach to their care and fosters a partnership between provider and patient.

What inspired you to become a doctor?

I was a Registered Nurse for many years before becoming an APN. I wanted to utilize my knowledge and skills to provide primary care to patients that was patient centered. I felt there was a void in patient care meaning a plan was given, but a lot of time the patients did not have the finances/education/support to initiate or follow through with the plan.
