What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
Coronary artery disease; hyperlipidemia; atrial fibrillation; congestive heart failure; valvular heart disease, including mitral and aortic valve disease; hypertension; cardiomyopathy.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, carotid ultrasound, all kinds of stress testing, Holter monitor, cardiac event monitoring.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
My experience and training results in an approach to cardiac care that is individualized. I try to use less testing and invasive procedures. I optimize medical treatment and try to limit over medication to achieve a symptom free life. The goal is to extend life with the best possible quality.
