What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

We use holistic and multidisciplinary team approach for treatment of coronary and valvular heart disease including treatment of aortic valve stenosis/regurgitation, mitral and tricuspid valve stenosis/regurgitation among other catheter-based procedures. 

What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?

Our interventional cardiologists specialize in treatment of transaortic valve replacement also known as TAVR, mitral valve replacement and clip, tricuspid valve replacement and clip as well as coronary catheterization and stent placement among other procedures not listed here. My role is to help manage, guide, educate, and gather necessary tests for proper evaluation of each and every patient as well as get them through the procedure while providing necessary support for them and their families while addressing the risk factors that might have contributed to the development of the disease. 

Describe some of your professional highlights.

I am a board-certified nurse practitioner, who graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree from Felician University in nursing. I advanced my career to a nurse practitioner and graduated with a master's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I actively participate in many clinical studies conducted within our group by recruiting and following patients participating in various studies. I am a member of the Sigma Theta Thau, International Honor Society of Nurses and am committed to providing the highest standard of care. 

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

My goal is to consistently provide patients and their families with valuable information regarding their conditions, treatment approaches, and options, so they can make educated decisions about their health according to their needs and lifestyle. I take pride in delivering evidence-based, advanced care that integrates clinical experience with the latest research. I believe in a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care, and work closely with my highly trained colleagues, as well as providers in other medical disciplines, to deliver the care patients seek and deserve.

What inspired you to become a provider?

As someone who is always striving to do more and learn more, becoming a nurse practitioner was a natural path for me to follow on my journey in service to others.
