Obesity, overweight, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, metabolic dysfunction, associated fatty liver disease.
Describe some of your professional highlights.
Awarded Best Ambulatory Medicine Resident and Best Patient Advocate during residency training. Selected as a member of the Primary Care Advisory Committee at my prior employer. Obtained certification in Obesity Medicine in October 2024.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
My approach to care is collaborative and compassionate. I aim to provide an environment in which patients feel heard, understood, and most of all empowered in their health care and decisions.
What inspired you to become a doctor?
I wanted to be a doctor since the age of five. My decision was re-enforced by being involved in caring for my family members at a young age.

Dr. Alexa -Jade Simeron was professional and very knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns without judgement . She walked me throughout my options and explained what the plan of action was. I felt important and not just another patient she had to get through to complete her day . I would recommend her to anyone looking for a physician because I left feeling very feel taken care of.
