What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
High-risk obstetrics, prenatal and postpartum care, pregnancy, multiple gestation, and singleton, ectopic pregnancy, contraception counseling, cervical dysplasia, menstrual disorders/abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic floor prolapse, pelvic pain, polycystic ovarian syndrome, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), sexually transmitted disease, uterine fibroids, urinary incontinence ,vaginitis
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
My approach to care is patient-centered. Patients are more than just their medical conditions. I consider each patient’s physical, emotional, and social needs when developing a care plan. I also value collaborative decision-making greatly, understanding that patients are experts when it comes to their goals.
What inspired you to become a doctor?
At a young age, I saw the difference doctors made in the lives of many sick relatives. Throughout my undergraduate training, I also saw the special relationship that an OB/GYN has with their patients as they navigate through life. That sealed the deal for me to become an OB/GYN.

Dr. Iftikhar delivered my first baby [...] to this appointment. I felt so safe in her hands and she delivered my baby beautifully. My follow up appt with her went well and she answered all of my questions. She knocks before entering and lets me know who she is before entering- small but much appreciated. Excellent bedside manner. Her Kindness, knowledge, and genuine concern for the wellbeing of myself and my newborn was extremely appreciated.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Iftikhar - she was so so sweet, gentle, and informative. I reached out with a follow up question via the portal and even though the portal stated a response would be within 48 hours, she responded almost instantly. 11/10 recommend Dr. Iftikhar!

Dr.Amna iftikhar was great and friendly. I was trying to follow up on my test results for two days via phone. She responded swiftly via chat when I left her a message. She even helped schedule the follow up. The doctors here are great. Its more so administrative associates that leave much to be desired in my experience.
