Bio
What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
I care for patients with a broad range of cardiovascular concerns, including coronary artery disease, heart attacks, heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation, valvular heart disease, heart failure, hypertension, high cholesterol, and peripheral artery disease. I also evaluate patients with symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, and fainting, with a focus on identifying the underlying cause and developing a personalized treatment plan.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
I specialize in non-invasive cardiology and cardiovascular imaging, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques to help prevent, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular disease. My practice utilizes echocardiography, including transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), stress testing, nuclear cardiology studies, electrocardiograms (EKGs), ambulatory heart rhythm monitoring, and vascular ultrasound to provide comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations. These tools allow me to identify cardiovascular disease early, assess cardiovascular risk, and develop personalized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's needs.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
Every patient has a unique story, and I believe their care should reflect that. I take the time to listen to my patients, understand their concerns, explain diagnoses and treatment options in clear, straightforward language, and answer any questions they may have. Together, we develop a personalized care plan that aligns with each patient's goals, lifestyle, and overall health. Whether helping someone prevent heart disease or manage an existing condition, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while empowering patients to make informed decisions about their heart health.
