What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

As a general pediatrician, my most important task is to follow growth and development and provide preventive counseling in infants, children, and adolescents. I treat children with both chronic conditions such as asthma, eczema, seasonal allergies, and acute conditions such as colds, throat infections and minor skin infections.

What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?

The following techniques and procedures are used in our practice.

Point of care testing including:

• Viral respiratory infections
• Group A streptococcus
• Mononucleosis
• Hemoglobin
• Lead
• Urinalysis
• Pregnancy tests

We also perform: 

• Blood draws
• Urine catheters
• Minor wound care
• Suture removal
• Chemical cauterization of granulation tissue
• Vission screening
• Hearing screening
• Nebulizer treatment

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I provide patient and family centered evidence-based care with the understanding that we all come from different experiences and backgrounds and that there is not a "one-fits-all" approach.
