What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

Hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and coronary artery disease.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I would like my patients to know that my origins of starting as a nurse has and will allow me to provide wholesome care to patients. Therapeutic communication was used on a daily and all my experience has led me to provide care with my heart and as if the patient was my own loved one.

What inspired you to become a provider?

What has inspired me to become a nurse practitioner has been my drive to help others. Originally this was my reason for becoming a nurse, but after my years of experience at the bedside, I have realized I wanted to provide more wholesome care. I wanted to do more for the patient and take lead in their care, which lead me to go back to school and achieve my DNP.
