What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

As a Physician Assistant in Cardiac Surgery, I assist the surgeons during the operations to allow for a smooth and successful surgery. I assist on operating on all of the conditions that a cardiac surgeon is experienced in, including but not limited to, CABG procedures, valve repair and replacements, ECMO, aortic dissections, Impella insertions.

Describe some of your professional highlights.

I have worked as a Physician Assistant for 8 years going on 9. I have a diverse background in emergency medicine, cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery. I began my career in Indiana and just recently relocated to New Jersey.

What inspired you to become a doctor?

I became a Physician Assistant after being around health issues with family members while growing up. This inspired me to enter into health care, and cardiothoracic surgery has always been a specialty that grabbed my interest, and once I made the decision to become a Physician Assistant in this specialty, I never looked back.
