What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

Some of the specific conditions that I treat are acute emergency care of cardiac arrest, heart failure, acute MI, acute respiratory failure, acute delirium, substance abuse, and septic shock.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

My approach to care is from specific (i.e. initial complaint) to holistic. I address first the immediate somatic and psychological needs of the patient in the context of the patient's medical history, age, religion, ethnic background, social environment, and sexual orientation.

What inspired you to become a healthcare provider?

What inspired me to become a nurse practitioner was the drive as an RN to increase my knowledge and develop some autonomy in practice. I was a flight nurse with critical care experience and wanted to further my education in order to work in critical care as a nurse practitioner.
