What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

As part of the interventional cardiology and structural heart team, I see patients for "plumbing" issues of the heart including coronary artery disease, atrial septal defects (ASD), patent foramen ovales (PFO), aortic stenosis, and aortic/mitral/tricuspid regurgitation. Our team also offers renal denervation procedures for difficult to control hypertension.

What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?

Our team offers minimally invasive cardiac procedures including cardiac catheterizations, complex stenting of blockages, ASD or PFO closures, transcatheter valve replacements including TAVR, transcatheter edge to edge repair of mitral valves (TEER), and renal denervation.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

As a nurse practitioner, my role is to understand your medical history no matter how complex and see how our team could help you whether it is through procedures, medications, or both. My goal is to make sure patients and families are being given information at a level that they can understand so they may feel comfortable with the care they are receiving and truly participate in shared decision making.
