What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
Our dermatology practices evaluates and manages a diverse range of skin conditions. Some of the conditions I treat include acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, and pre-cancerous skin lesions. Many of these skin disorders require long-term management to achieve optimal results.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Upon arrival to the office, the patient's concern will be evaluated. If necessary, a biopsy may be performed to assist with the diagnosis. This procedure is performed in the office with local anesthesia. I also perform cryo therapy and interlesional injections depending on the skin condition presented.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
For medical treatments to be successful, it is necessary for the provider and patient to work as a team. It is important to have patients feel comfortable with their treatment and understand why a specific treatment is prescribed. Also, it is important to understand that treatments must be attainable during daily life and be cost-effective. I encourage and enjoy working with my patients as a team to allow for the best possible outcomes.

The NP was very informative throughout my visit and really explained the plan of care / prescriptions / follow up very well. I knew what I had to do after my visit. I did ask for a written follow up for the appointments and medications and that was not provided to me which is the only room for improvement I could think of but I just wrote it all on my cell phone instead.
