What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
I treat asthma, hypertension, COPD, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus. I am board certified in internal and pulmonary medicine.
Describe some of your professional highlights.
I was appointed as a commissioner for Agent Orange and conducted a comprehensive study for the effects of Dioxin/Agent Orange on veterans of the Vietnam War.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
EKG, spirometry, suturing, guided steroid injections.
What inspired you to become a doctor?
I was inspired by an experience I had fighting a fire in Vietnam in August 1968, when I was only 20 years old. I earned several combat-related awards while serving in the U.S. Army. I now use my determination to help patients combat disease and health-related issues.
