What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

I specialize in caring for patients recovering from cardiac and aortic surgery, as well as those with heart disease, heart failure, hypotension, and conditions requiring mechanical circulatory support.

What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?

I perform intubations, central and arterial line placement, bronchoscopies, and Swan-Ganz catheter placement.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I strive to take a holistic approach to patient care, treating each individual as more than a set of clinical measurements. I aim to treat every patient with the same compassion and respect I would want for members of my own family. 

Describe some of your professional highlights.

I completed an Anesthesia Critical Care Fellowship at University California San Diego and was formerly an Emergency Medicine Academic Chief Resident at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

What inspired you to become a health care clinician?

While volunteering as an EMT in my community and seeing the impact I could make providing frontline care to patients in medical, psychiatric, and traumatic emergencies, I knew I wanted to build a career centered on being there for people in their most vulnerable moments.

I have several research interests and have published my work and presented at national conferences on Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (eCPR) programs, sepsis care quality, and airway procedural competency. I have also served in active roles in resident education and clinical teaching.
