What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

I take care of inpatients admitted for medical conditions as well as high-risk surgical patients with active comorbidities.

Describe some of your professional highlights.

After graduating from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, I trained in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Afterward, I completed an NLM postdoctoral biomedical informatics fellowship, where my research contributed to clinical phenotyping with machine learning methods.

I have practiced medicine in diverse settings, including the Rosebud Indian Reservation, Newburgh NY’s community hospital, and quaternary centers such as Massachusetts General Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. My love of clinical care, teaching, and mentorship led me to seize this opportunity to help launch Valley's new residency program.

What inspired you to become a doctor?

When I was growing up, I noticed I loved science and talking to people. And then, I realized that medicine is about celebrating the individual by seeing truth without judgment.
