What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
In the office I see all EP patients in follow up for medical therapy, post ablation or device implant and arrhythmia management. This will include following remote alerts from pacemaker and defibrillators. In the hospital, I am part of the consult service with a heavier involvement in the device patients seen in the hospital including interrogations of pacemaker and defibrillator for inpatients as well as MRI clearance and management for patients with devices.
Describe some of your professional highlights.
Started in Interventional cardiology and EP in NYC for 6 years then for at least 3 years, I was in charge of and sole interrogator and programmer of cardiology device clinic in NY: ILRs, pacemakers and defibrillators; also, implement cardiology studies: ETT, stress echo and treadmill and pharmacological nuclear studies. For 6 years, I've worked in medicine, cardiology step-down and in a CCU prior to recently 5 &1/2 years in Urgent Care. Now back again to cardiology, my original love.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
I'm very attentive and want to focus on person-centered care for better outcomes and good relationships with patients.
