What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

I provide preventive care including annual physicals, screenings and vaccinations. I also manage chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and obesity. I take care of acute conditions such as urinary tract infections and common cold.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I take the time to truly get to know my patients and understand their medical, family, and social histories. I also value making sure they feel heard, informed, and comfortable with what we discuss at every visit.

Describe some of your professional highlights.

I received the outpatient medicine award in residency. I also participated in a quality improvement project, which increased the amount of patients being discharged on heart failure medications. 

What inspired you to become a healthcare clinician?

I love that medicine gives me the opportunity to keep learning while also giving me the privilege of caring for others.
