Diagnose, treat and monitor acute illnesses and chronic conditions during the hospital stay. Medically supervised withdrawal from substances like alcohol or drugs to manage symptoms safely. Provide prompt medical attention during hospital emergencies or acute deteriorations in patient. 

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I see each patient as a whole person - not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. My approach to medicine is deeply rooted in the belief that the body, mind and environment are all interconnected. Every patient carries a unique story, and I take the time to understand not just their medical concerns, but also their lifestyle, emotional health and personal goals. Rather than simply addressing surface-level symptoms, I aim to uncover the underlying causes of illness and imbalance. By treating the root issue, we create space for real healing and long-term wellness. I believe that true care means listening closely, looking at the bigger picture, and empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to take charge of their health. For me, medicine is not just about managing disease - it's about supporting people in living fuller, healthier lives. 

What inspired you to become an advanced practice provider?

Local doctors in my community were the initial inspiration for my interest in a career in medicine. The way they cared for and healed people - often despite limited resources - deeply moved me. Watching them work sparked my interest in medicine and showed me that being a doctor means more than treating illness - it means serving others with integrity and empathy. Their dedication and impact motivated me to pursue a path in medicine, with the hope of making a similar difference in the lives of others.
