What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
Coronary artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chest pain, shortness of breath, other diseases that affect the heart secondarily, such as diabetes and obesity. I am board certified in nuclear cardiology and had extra training in transesophageal echocardiography at the Cleveland Clinic.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Stress tests, including dobutamine stress echos and adenosine nuclear stress tests; consultative cardiology, nuclear cardiology, transesophageal echocardiography.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
I’m a strong proponent of "best practices." I very strongly believe in doing what's best for the patient; at times that means doing more procedures and tests, though sometimes it can mean doing less. I try to tailor my approach to each individual.
