Describe some of your professional highlights.
I have served on international, national and local committees related to Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and have published a number of journal articles and textbook chapters. I have been awarded the Presidential Citation from the Society of Critical Care Medicine, was named a Best Doctor in America multiples times and was named a Bergen Magazine Best Doctor. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
What inspired you to become a healthcare clinician?
I was interested in helping people from a young age; that coupled with my interest in physiology led me to medicine.
