Bio
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Surgical treatment of advanced heart failure, coronary artery bypass graft surgery for coronary artery disease including off-pump procedures and arterial revascularization, valve replacement and repair, including minimally invasive surgery, for heart valvular disorders, and aortic surgery for aneurysmal disease.
Describe some of your professional highlights.
I have had consistently high outcome scores with NJ state and Society of Thoracic Surgery measures for the past twenty years, and multiple "Top Doc" recognitions in New Jersey Magazine. I've also led the surgical development of the second busiest Destination Therapy left ventricular assist device program in the country before coming to The Valley Hospital.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
I believe all care is based upon what is best for the patient in terms of quality of life and treating illness. Patient involvement in care decisions is of utmost importance.
