Describe some of your professional highlights.

I served as Executive Director at the Trenton Health Team (THT), a non-profit healthcare collaborative. There, I successfully led a population health program that engaged healthcare providers, payers, community members, and others to improve primary care delivery. Key programs included the Trenton Health Information Exchange, which provides real-time clinical data from collaborative
partner organizations, a care management team that was comprised of a nurse case manager, social worker, community health workers, and attorneys on a consultative basis, that significantly decreased utilization of, and costs associated with, emergency room and hospital visits, and a Medicaid Accountable Care Organization.

I also spent nearly 17 years in a variety of leadership positions within Environmental, Health and Safety with the Rohm & Haas Company. I led many diverse initiatives across the company including analyzing and mitigating the effects of chemicals on human health and the environment, embracing sustainable development and the principles of green chemistry to drive new product development, implementing technology to meet regulatory requirements and advance business goals, assessing the feasibility of developing a new technology platform in the health care space, and influencing and leveraging new regulations and trends to evaluate and develop new products.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

I have a holistic approach to care that considers all facets of an individual's life.

What inspired you to become a doctor?

I was a sickly child and would miss some school due to a variety of illnesses. Unfortunately, I also experienced a lot of loss as a child. I believe these experiences led me to practice medicine.
