What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
Some of the specific conditions that I treat include PCOS, abnormal menses/menstrual regulation, fibroids, prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, and more.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Some of the techniques or procedures that I use in my practice include Da Vinci robotic/ laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopy, MyoSure/NovaSure endometrial ablation techniques, labiaplasty due to labia hypertrophy, vaginal repair for prolapse, and rectocele/cystocele.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
Everyone has different experiences in life, from struggles, pain, fear of the unknown, and joy. Speaking in layman's terms, and providing visual aids and common analogies helps bridge difficult to understand medical concepts to understanding for patients.
What inspired you to become a doctor?
As a child, about age 11, my father had a heart attack and I had wanted to help heal him. When you are in good health, value it and nourish it so it can grow. Any signs of ailment, especially when picked up early try to rectify it, preventative medicine works. There is no other specialty where you can help bring a newborn into the world, perform surgery, and provide primary care. That is what makes Obstetrics & Gynecology truly rewarding.

I came to Dr. Ahmad as a second opinion to a test result I'd previously gotten with no explanation. Dr. Ahmad explained everything in simple terms, provided visual aides, and went through all possible scenarios and options for follow up. I felt at ease after my appointment. Being able to leave a medical facility with actual information that I didn't have to decipher myself is a HUGE positive for me and my experiences. I feel comfortable in returning and working with Dr. Ahmad again.
