What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

Some of the specific conditions that I treat include obesity, high cholesterol, prediabetes, insulin resistance, PCOS, eating disorders, binge eating, and abnormal weight gain.

What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?

Some of the techniques and procedures that I use in my practice include lifestyle modifications, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as pharmacotherapy.

What inspired you to become a doctor?

My dad is a doctor and so were both of his brothers, so they inspired me to go to medical school. Growing up I struggled with my own weight and was a chronic dieter. Once I became a doctor, because I struggled with my own weight, I was extremely interested in anything to do with obesity and weight loss. The more I learned the more I realized that everything I was doing that I thought was right, was wrong and this inspired me to want to help other kids get on the right track - and this is what inspired me to become an obesity medicine specialist.
