Bio
What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
Some of the specific conditions I treat are pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, COPD, asthma, pleural effusions, sepsis, sarcoidosis, tobacco use, sleep disorders, lung cancer, and pulmonary nodules. I take pride in my role as a diagnostician to find the underlying cause of a patient’s respiratory ailments
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Some of the techniques and procedures I use in my practice are bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, mechanical ventilation, ultrasound, thoracentesis, lung biopsies, and tracheostomy.
Describe some of your professional highlights.
I am board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while training in New York. I have served in leadership roles, including chief fellow during my training, and have been actively involved in medical education for both residents and fellows. I take pride in translating my extensive training to providing the highest quality care for every patient.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
My approach to care is centered on listening carefully, communicating clearly, and developing treatment plans that are individualized to each patient’s needs and goals. I believe that the best outcomes come from a true partnership between patient and physician—one built on trust, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. In pulmonary and critical care medicine, conditions can be complex and often require collaboration across multiple specialties. I work closely with each patient and their care team to ensure that every aspect of their diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up is coordinated and clearly understood. My goal is to provide the highest quality care while helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their care journey
What inspired you to become a doctor?
I was inspired by the opportunity to help patients during their most vulnerable moments – whether stabilizing them in the ICU or guiding them through the management of a chronic lung condition. This specialty combines the challenge of solving complex medical problems with the privilege of building lasting relationships. I find it deeply rewarding to help patients make informed decisions and regain their health.
