What are some of the specific conditions you treat?

I treat a wide range of pulmonary and respiratory conditions, including asthma, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary hypertension, lung nodules, and sleep-related breathing disorders.

What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?

I perform a variety of pulmonary procedures, including bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) bronchoscopy, and thoracentesis. These procedures can help diagnose and manage lung conditions, including lung nodules, enlarged lymph nodes, infections, and fluid around the lungs.

What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?

My goal is to care for every patient with the same compassion, patience, and diligence that I would want for my own family. I believe that starts with listening closely, taking the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, and making decisions together. I strive to be a strong advocate for my patients and to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care that protects both their health and their dignity.

Describe some of your professional highlights.

I attended medical school and completed my residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, where I received a Rising Star Scholarship and a Humanitarian Award. I then completed my fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where I trained in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary techniques alongside leaders in the field. My training has prepared me to care for patients across the full spectrum of pulmonary medicine, from complex outpatient lung disease to acute and critical illness in the hospital.

What inspired you to become a healthcare clinician?

I was drawn to medicine by the opportunity to support people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives—whether they are facing a serious illness in the hospital or navigating a chronic condition over time. As a physician, I hope to provide compassionate, steady guidance that helps patients feel heard, respected, and cared for.  I consider it a privilege to help patients and their families navigate their health journey.
