What are some of the specific conditions you treat?
Some of the specific conditions that I treat include lower back pain, joint and/or muscle injuries, overuse injuries, arthritis, and concussions.
What techniques or procedures do you use in your practice?
Some techniques and procedures that I use in my practice include ultrasound-guided injections, fluoroscopy-guided injections, PRP, Botox injections, and NCS/EMGs.
What would you like patients to know about your approach to care?
I wish to learn how my patients' conditions are affecting their every day life. From there, it is my job to arm my patients with the necessary information about their condition so that together, we can formulate a plan regarding their care. As a physiatrist, my goal is to treat my patients by helping them maximize their function, diminish pain they might be experiencing, and improve their quality of life.

DR. CHEN TOOK THE TIME TO MAKE ME AWARE OF EACH STEP IN THE PROCEDURE AS HE WAS TAKING THEM. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME BEFORE, AND AFTER THE PROCEDURE IN TERMS OF CARE AND WHAT TO DO IF THERE WERE ANY ADVERSE REACTIONS TO THE KNEE INJECTIONS HE GAVE ME.

Dr. Chen was amazing. He spent a lot of time examining me and explaining things. The best part was he took the time to look at my past lab reports to determine what medication I should take so it doesn't affect me adversely. I would highly recommend him!
